It strikes me as odd bordering on the retarded and insane that people get all up in arms when someone seeks attention.
We all want attention really; and if it's funny or interesting, let them do it.
Attention seeking is only annoying if the attention seek is an annoying act.
Everyone wants attention really, everyone wants to be known, to be famous. If you don't, you're probably a boring irrelevant person.
When you talk to someone, even then you want their attention.
So I think you should all calm down over it.
